Suspecting unfair distribution of passes by RCA president CP Joshi, who has been under fire for corruption, the association secretary and treasurer raised objections and moved to court. The supreme court ruled to restrain the president from distributing the passes.

RCA president CP Joshi was accused of calling for tender notices for exorbitant sums of money which did not have the executive committee’s approval. Following these allegations, an application was filed with the Ethics Committee Officer, who ordered a probe into the questionable dealings.

Bhawani Samota, Assistant to RCA President CP Joshi, was appointed as the point person of RCA with the BCCI, which was done against the provisions of the RCA constitution. This was challenged by the other members of the association, leading to the intervention of the Rajasthan High Court, who ruled to remove Samota from the position.
